Quicken for Free or for a Price?

Quicken Online is now being offered absolutely free. With the word free might come feelings of doubt. If it's now free, it can't possibly be as good as the costly one, right? That's hard to say.

You can't exactly compare the two. Yes, when you pay for it, you may get a few more features, but no necessarily better quality. If you find everything you need in the free online, you might as well stick with that. Unless you want something that isn't 100% online, stick with the online program.

On the other hand, if you have a more complicated agenda, you might be better off with the paid program. They will offer you some features that the free program doesn't have. There are even varying degrees of the paid program, paying more for more features.

I would recommend starting out with the free program, and if it doesn't give you all you wanted, check the features of the paid program. If it does give you want you want, go for that. Upgrade as you feel necessary.
